Shaver Pond Nature Center can be found roughly 15 miles east of Loudonville, NY. This center educates visitors on the natural environment of New York State, and allows them to experience the wilds first hand on some of the hiking trails available in the area. The center can also be rented out for group activities.

This park spans across 130 acre of land and features a three-acre pond for fishing and ice skating. This park also offers shaded walking trails in a natural hardwood forest. Park hours are from 8am to dusk daily.
