The Children's Museum of Science and Technology (CMOST)
The Children's Museum of Science and Technology (CMOST) is a regional resource for educating and exciting children about science and technology.
CMOST features hands-on learning designed specifically for children, including interactive exhibits celebrating the ecosystems of the Hudson River, live reptiles and the Thelma and Kenneth Lally planetarium. The Molecularium introduces young children to the elements of nanoscience.

Schenectady County Historical Society Museum
Built in Schenectady's historic district, the Georgian style building was constructed in 1895 for Dora Jackson. This museum contains a collection of artefacts documenting domestic and industrial life from as early as 1690. The museum also houses over 60 portraits and landscape paintings related to Schenectady's people and places.
